In the Fall of 2019 I began my position as Assistant Professor at Linfield University. I was hired as the first professor for the new Sport Management program at Linfield after the minor in Sport Management proved widely popular. The Sport Management program at Linfield is housed in the School of Business but is also interdisciplinary, with students taking classes in economics, health and human performance, journalism, and sociology in addition to our business core. In my role I also serve as the coordinator for the Sport Management program, overseeing curriculum and internships, planning events, and recruiting prospective students.

In the summer of 2020 I was appointed as Linfield’s Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR), the first woman to ever hold the position. I love being able to being a bridge between athletics and academics at an institution that has such a great athletics program.

Over the summer of 2020, we started hosting weekly Zoom discussions to process current events and promote social justice. For more see our YouTube playlist

In addition to my work with Linfield I serve on the board of Youth Movement and the Sporting Justice Collective

The Work Comes First

Below are some of the projects I worked on during my time at Wieden+Kennedy and Nike.

Nike #GETOUTHERE

In 2015 I helped with the media rollout of Nike's star-studded winter campaign that included the hit film, "Snow Day".

P&G RAISING AN OLYMPIAN

One of my proudest moments was serving as associate producer of P&G's hit Olympics content campaign Raising an Olympian, including an hour long special that aired on NBC.

NIKE N7

During my time with Nike N7, I assisted with the execution of initiatives to drive buzz and connection with N7, including the launch of the very first Nike N7 Kevin Durant shoe, the KD7. I managed all the social accounts and was responsible for exponential growth in followers. Another important aspect of working with N7 was having the ability to collaborate closely with Sports Marketing, Event Marketing, and Retail Brand Marketing to manage timelines and execute integrated event marketing plans.
